They are rusted on the edges through a 3 step process and are individually shrink wrapped keeping them protected. They are vintage replications in every way! Our rusted vintage signs look and feel old! They are even rusty on the corners, edges and back, adding to the realistic vintage appearance. These are specially designed and we are one of the few that carry these particular designs. These signs have a suggested retail price of $24.95
Unfortunately, not all signs are created equal. Some retailers stock tin signs that are created much like a poster from a photograph, whereby the picture is sprayed on with paint. They are NOT rusted or distressed in anyway, although they may tell you that the acquired scratches are there to appear that way. The entire process is much more simplistic and less expensive.
Still others stock lightweight plastic or heavy guage steel where each sign weighs 3-lbs a piece rendering them a non-viable shipping option.
We therefore carry what we do in the way of Vintage Rusted Tin because we simply believe in them!
Our VINTAGE/RUSTED TIN is another high quality process and also costs quite a bit to produce. They are a heavy duty steel that starts out looking like metal, but goes thru an initial process of turning to rust. This gives them the vintage and very distressed appearance of years gone by. The design is then imprinted onto the rusted metal. From there, each is individually shrink wrapped.
Size is 8" x 14" and they weigh just under 1 lb each
